Introduction to Wheat Support Program 2025

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab Government has introduced a major support initiative for farmers: the Wheat Support Program 2025. Aimed at ensuring food security and reducing agricultural expenses, this scheme offers PKR 5,000 per acre as financial assistance to eligible wheat growers in Punjab. The program covers landholders and tenants with up to 12.5 acres of cultivated wheat land.

To benefit from the Wheat Support Program 2025, applicants must fulfill the following conditions:

Land Verification & Approval Process

The system will verify land ownership and cultivation data using the PLRA (Punjab Land Records Authority) and Girdawri records:

Digitized Mauzas (villages):

Land data will be fetched against the applicant’s CNIC. If wheat cultivation is within the limit, the case will be approved automatically.

Non-Digitized Mauzas:

In areas without digital records, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) will process applications manually through DC Login Access, followed by physical land verification.
